What Can You Do with a Degree in Manufacturing Technology?

With this degree, you can work as a manufacturing technician, operating and maintaining automated equipment, programming CNC machines, or ensuring quality standards. You鈥檒l support production lines, troubleshoot machinery, and implement process improvements. This degree prepares you for a vital role in modern manufacturing environments and provides a foundation for career advancement into supervisory or engineering support roles.
The manufacturing sector is evolving rapidly with increased automation, robotics, and advanced production techniques. Graduates with a Manufacturing Technology degree are in high demand as skilled technicians, CNC programmers, automation specialists, or quality control inspectors. Suggested Curriculum

Coursework includes basic machine shop operations and processes, CNC machine operation and programming, CAD/CAM fundamentals, robotics and automated manufacturing applications. This program prepares technicians to operate, program, design and install manufacturing, assembly and materials handling equipment. Students who wish to pursue a bachelor鈥檚 degree in this program should consult an enrollment advisor regarding transfer information.
