The Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Certificate provides comprehensive training on the systems and components of hybrid and electric vehicles. This program prepares you to service the next generation of vehicles that are transforming the automotive industry.

Our Automotive Technology program is certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Education Foundation. Certification was awarded in automatic transmission and transaxles, brakes, electrical/electronic systems, engine performance, engine repair, heating and air conditioning, manual drivetrain and axles, and suspension.

What Can You Do with a Hybrid & Electric Vehicle Certificate?

With this certificate, you can work as an EV or hybrid technician, diagnosing electrical and battery system issues, performing repairs, and conducting maintenance on electric and hybrid vehicles. You鈥檒l play a key role in supporting clean transportation and helping vehicle owners maximize performance and safety in environmentally friendly vehicles.
The demand for skilled technicians trained in electric and hybrid vehicle technology is rapidly increasing as more consumers and manufacturers focus on sustainability. Graduates with this certification can find employment in auto dealerships, independent repair shops, fleet maintenance facilities, and specialized EV service centers. Suggested Curriculum

This program is designed to prepare students for a career in hybrid and electric vehicle service. Students will acquire basic knowledge of safety, electricity, electronics, vehicle systems, and power trains of hybrid and electric vehicles.
