What Can You Do with a Degree in Pre-Health Professions?

You can use the degree to prepare for transfer and continue your studies in a health-related field. The A.A. alone may not qualify you for licensed or clinical roles, which often require specialized education and credentials. Work with an advisor to choose courses that align with your intended transfer institution and career path.
The A.A.  degree is generally a starting point for further education, not a credential for independent clinical practice. Career opportunities depend on the program you pursue after transfer and any required degrees, certifications, or licenses. With additional education, graduates may explore fields such as healthcare, public health, laboratory science, or other allied health professions.
